SwiftCarbon won today the 31st edition of Vuelta a Madrid by the Portuguese cyclist Edgar Pinto of Vito-Feirense-Blackjack team, finishing the 99.9km race with time 02:11:12h.
The athlete won on Friday at the sprint the first stage of the race in the Spanish capital. On Saturday, Edgar Pinto was 13th in the second stage and came down to second place overall. Today, in the final race, held in a circuit in the Paseo La Castellana in the center of Madrid, Pinto finished the race in the 5th position, with the same time as the winner, Spaniard Carlos Barbedo (Movistar), a position that allowed him to recover the first place of the general.
