Cantwell first competed as a professional on the World Tour in 2008 and made his Grand Tour début at the 2012 Tour de France with Team SaxoBank where he was earmarked as the lead-out man for their sprinter.

He has an impressive list of palmarés collected throughout his career with overalls and stage wins from across the globe; Tour of Atlanta to Tour of Taiwan. In 2010, he placed 2nd overall in the USA Cycling National Racing Calendar, in 2011 he was Australian National Criterium Champ, and in 2014 joined Drapac Professional Cycling for the season.

“Well, I’ve kept in shape so I’m going pretty well still. I’m not coming to the race to look at the scenery. I’ll do that on Monday, ” said Cantwell.

Now, at the helm of SwiftCarbon Australia he’s helping lead the brand to new heights, launching new athletes into competitive racing and triathlon in Australia and getting new cyclists onto SwiftCarbon bikes daily.

As a proponent of our ethos to have cyclists design, manufacture and run SwiftCarbon, he is a key ingredient in helping us grow a brand of bikes that ride exceptionally with no compromise.} else {
